Coachella x New School Consulting
New School Consulting asked Roman Candle Media to assist in the first ever VIP restaurant pop-up experience for the Coachella 2015 Music Festival. This huge project brought some of L.A.'s hottest restaurants to the desert to provide a true "brick and mortar" experience to VIP ticket holders.

Short Stacks is a series of small format cookbooks, launched last Fall by former Food & Wine editor and founding editor of Tasting Table Nick Fauchald. Roman Candle Media assisted with launch and gift - guide pitching and outreach to local stockists. Placements included Cool Hunting's 2013 holiday gift guide,Monocle Magazine's Dec/Jan 2013 issue and retail outlets Poketo and Paper or Plastik Cafe.
Urban Realist x L.A. Diaries
The Urban Realist approached L.A. Diaries who then approached Roman Candle Media to write and photograph an article featuring some of our favorite places. Since it's kind of impossible to pick a top 5 anything in a city as vast and ever evolving as L.A., we chose to focus on the Melrose / Fairfax area where many a high school weekend was spent cruising the Melrose strip, trying to look cool and praying for a Red Hot Chili Peppers sighting. The James Beard Foundation is one of the most respected culinary organizations in the country. Its mission is to continue cookbook author and teacher James Beard's legacy of championing American cuisine, educating, mentoring and entertaining. It also hosts the James Beard Awards, one of the highest honors a chef or hospitality professional can hope to get.
Roman Candle worked with Chef Chizmar in creating a dinner proposal to submit for the consideration of the James Beard House's dinner series. Chef Chizmar is now on the prestigious roster of chefs who have been invited to cook at the James Beard House.
